Every sign, gadget, and carved piece here is built by hand in a small home workshop — no two boards are ever quite the same, and that's the point.
We're the Herons — two hands, one workshop, and a lot of sawdust. What started as a way to fill retirement with something we loved turned into a small collection of signs, gadgets, and carved pieces that people keep asking to buy.
Every piece starts as raw lumber, gets shaped, sanded, and finished right here, and comes out the other side as something we'd be proud to put in our own home. We pick woods for how they'll age, not just how they look on day one.
If you order something custom, you're talking to the people actually making it — not a warehouse. We like it that way.
A small sample of what's come off the workbench recently. The full, current stock lives on our Etsy shop.
We keep our full, up-to-date stock, pricing, and ordering over on Etsy — it's the best way to see what's currently in the shop and place an order.
